Easy Vegan Snack: Wakame Ginger Fried Rice

Fragrant rice stir-fried with ginger, carrot, soy, and wakame. A quick and flavourful way to enjoy seaweed.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Servings: 3–4

Ingredients

  • 700 g day-old rice

  • 30 g wakame (rehydrated)

  • 2 shallots, thin slices

  • 1 piece ginger

  • 4 carrots, sliced

  • Soy sauce, sesame oil, 5-spice

Instructions

  1. Fry shallots & ginger until crispy.

  2. Stir-fry carrots & rice.

  3. Add soy, sesame oil, 5-spice.

  4. Toss in wakame.
